The winning triumvirate of inspired music-game designers at Harmonix, the music industry moguls at MTV and the gaming industry behemoth that is Electronic Arts have brought us what could well be the ultimate music creation/rock god-aping title, the simply and ingeniously entitled Rock Band.
Rock Band is a game in which up to four players - be they in the same room or online together in cyberspace - can jam on drums, lead guitar, bass guitar and vocals. In short, it's the full band experience (unless you have a hankering for fruity rock stuff like pianos or violins).
The game comes with a whopping great song list, predominantly made up of original master recordings, and doesn't stop there. There's also a constantly evolving library of songs available to download.
