Rock Band is a game in which up to four players - be they in the same room or online together in cyberspace - can jam on drums, lead guitar, bass guitar and vocals. In short, it's the full band experience* (* that's as in rock band, not some harpsichord or viola-powered recital).

The Rock Band setlist for PlayStation 3 features:
There's also a selection of unlockable songs available from names you'll know (E.G. Oasis, Blur, Muse) and names you may not know (Freezepop, Anarchy Club, Flyleaf and many more). Oh, and Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld! Yeah! << less
