Naruto, however, seems to be doing all right for himself. He's well on the way to becoming a superstar, for one. With his own manga, anime show, toys, collectible card game and, of course, video games, Naruto seems to be doing okay. And he always seems to be too busy fighting the forces of evil to go to school...

This latest instalment in Naruto's ongoing battle with the forces of darkness has him once again shirking his duties in the Hidden Leaf Village. Where previous games have been based around arena battles, however, Uzumaki Chronicles opens things up a bit for mission-based gameplay.

Followers of Naruto's escapades will recognise characters such as Kakashi, Sasuke and Neji swooping in at opportune moments when the going gets a little rough, but with a range of close combat moves and long range attacks using shurikens and the like, you'll find plenty to keep you going without their help.

The game also moves away from the usual cartoon graphics of the series, with a lush 3D world for players to explore.
