Battles range from the initial landing in Sicily to a multitude of battles inside Germany; every time you enter combat, you start off with your squad in your plane, the Dakota C-47, and have full control over your parachute as you head towards the battle zone below.
The ability to control where you land allows players to have even more control over how the battle takes place as you are able to attack the enemy from every possible angle. This, combined with several fully customisable weapons, means that snipers may choose to land on higher ground whilst machine gunners may land right on the frontline ready to fight.
When designing the game, the producers contacted many experts in the field of Second World War airborne combat to ensure that the game was as historically accurate as possible to provide more immersive gameplay.
With full control over how you fight a battle and just what kind of weapon you use, each level can be played multiple times with enemies reacting differently to your combat techniques every time.
