Bigbig Studios was founded in 2001 by a team of ex-Codemasters empoyees, with the backing of Evolution Studios. This association provides the company with the financial backing of an established company whilst allowing freedom to operate with the dynamics of a small developer.

bigBIG Studios's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2005 title, "Pursuit Force" (PSP).
