Duke Nukem Forever - Get Teased Inside
It's been a looooong time coming, but developer 3D Realms is giving Duke Nukem Forever its first public showing in, well, forever. SPOnG has a brand spanking new trailer for the much-beleaguered shooter below.

There's even a charming little story to go with it. 3D Realms' George Broussard, co-creator of Duke Nukem, tells us: "Last Saturday we had our annual company Christmas party. It was a lot of fun as usual but it featured one special surprise. It turns out that several people had been secretly working late nights and into the wee hours of the morning preparing a special video for those at the party. They created a short teaser for Duke Nukem Forever." Awwww...

The good news is, in George's words, "while it's just a teaser, rest assured more is coming."

It's about bloody time. The last time the game was shown off was back at E3 2001, while the game was announced for the PC way back in 1997.

Anyway, you can see the trailer in all its macho glory below.

It was indeed! 3D Realms isn't on my list of approved time travellers so couldn't possibly have been showcasing a game in 2001 that was only started this year...

Blasted proofing monkeys!

Cheers.

I'm not a die-hard fan of Duke Nukem, though I like the original, so I haven't been following it's development, I thought it was a dead series tbh.

But after hearing the last time this was discussed was E3 2001, and its now almost 2008... Graphics wise, he looks like a shiny plastic toy than a human.

Surely in 7 years they could have progressed from ps2/early xbox graphics?
